"Catch the Jew!" recounts the adventures of gonzo journalist Tuvia Tenenbom,who wanders around Israel and the Palestinian Authority for seven months in search of the untold truths in today's Holy Land as he assumes the identities of Tobi the German and Abu Ali. From the leftists in Tel Aviv to the PLOexecs in Ramallah, from the black-clad Haredim of Bet Shemesh to the glowing foreign human rights activists in Beit Hanina, from Jewish settlers and the Christians who come from abroad to ardent Jerusalem monks and Bedouins, Tenenbom takes on the people of the land, getting to know them and disarming them as he breaks bread and mingles with anyone and everyone. 

Tuvia studied for his doctorate in English literature at St. John's University, earned hisMFA in Playwriting at CUNY-Brooklyn, BSin mathematics and computer science at Touro, and finished his rabbinical studies in Jerusalem. He also studied Christianity and Islam in Israel and New York as well as journalism, acting, theater, and finance (at NYU).

In 2003 Germany'smost presigious newspaper Die Zeit named Tuvia Tenenbom and Prof. Harold Bloom ?the best minds?in America. Tuvia was called a "Free artist who fights for truth and tolerance" by the Belgian Le Vif L'Express. 

As a journalist, Tuvia writes essays and op-ed articles for various publications. His articles and essays have been published in leadingWestern media including Die Zeit of Germany,Corriere della Sera of Italy, Yedioth Ahronoth of Israel, and the American Fox News.Tuvia is also a columnist for Die Zeit. His column, "Fett wie ein Turnschuh," appears twice amonth.
